Hadiya Transportation — A Jeddah-Based Transport Company Serving Pilgrims and Travelers Since 2016

Hadiya Transportation was founded in 2016 by Malik Usama in the Al Marwah district of Jeddah, with a focused purpose — to provide reliable, professionally managed transport for pilgrims arriving in Saudi Arabia for Umrah and Hajj.

The gap at that time was clear. Pilgrims arriving at Jeddah airport often had no dependable way to reach Makkah or their accommodation. Informal arrangements were unreliable, communication was difficult across language barriers, and families traveling with luggage and elderly members needed something more structured. Hadiya Transportation was built specifically to fill that gap — starting with a small fleet of vehicles, drivers familiar with pilgrimage routes, and a multilingual approach that served Urdu, Arabic, English, and Pashto speaking passengers from the first year of operations.

As demand grew steadily through the Umrah and Hajj seasons, the fleet expanded alongside it. By 2019, the first branch outside the Al Marwah base was opened in western Jeddah, bringing operations closer to key airport corridors and hotel zones. That expansion reflected a shift that was already happening organically — passengers were no longer only pilgrims. Tourists exploring western Saudi Arabia, local residents needing intercity travel, and airport passengers requiring direct transfers had all become a regular part of daily bookings.

From that point, Our services extended across Makkah, Madinah and Taif, with the fleet and team growing to match the operational demand across each location. Today, Hadiya Transportation runs 74 vehicles across 5 branches, with a team of 85 members including drivers, fleet supervisors, and operations staff — all built from a single founding decision made in Jeddah in 2016.

How We're Built to Operate

Reliable transport across multiple Saudi cities requires structure — not just vehicles. Hadiya Transportation operates through 5 branches, each positioned for a specific operational purpose rather than general coverage.

The main branch in Al Marwah, North Jeddah is the founding location and primary airport support hub — handling King Abdulaziz International Airport arrivals for both pilgrims heading to Makkah and general travelers. The Al Khalidiyah branch in western Jeddah serves local residents for city and intercity travel. The Al Haram branch in Makkah is built around pilgrimage movement — Ziyarat visits, Haram transfers, and onward travel to Madinah. The Madinah branch near Masjid An-Nabawi handles holy site visitors and local residents alike. The Taif branch operates around Taif International Airport, managing arrivals, departures, and regional movement.

Each booking follows a straightforward process — passenger shares pickup location, destination, and vehicle preference, and a confirmed quote is returned before anything is finalized. Vehicles are matched based on passenger count, luggage, and trip distance.

The fleet runs on a structured maintenance schedule — three washes monthly and one full mechanical check — keeping all 74 vehicles in reliable condition across every location, every day.

The Team Behind Every Journey

Hadiya Transportation’s daily operations are carried by a team of 85 members — drivers, fleet supervisors, and operations staff — each with a defined role in keeping service consistent across all five branches.

Our drivers:

  • Average age between 30 to 45 years with 7+ years of passenger transport experience
  • Hold valid Saudi driving licenses with clean compliance records
  • Trained specifically for airport procedures, pilgrim-route familiarity, and passenger handling
  • Multilingual across the primary languages of the communities we serve
  • Background-checked before joining and periodically reviewed for service standards

Behind the drivers:

  • Fleet supervisors manage vehicle assignment, condition monitoring, and dispatch coordination at each branch
  • Operations managers oversee scheduling, booking flow, and branch-level service consistency
  • A dedicated support team handles passenger communication before and during every trip

This structure means no booking is managed by a single person working alone — every trip has a driver, a supervisor aware of the assignment, and a support contact available throughout.

10+ Years: What We've Learned

A decade of operating passenger transport across Saudi Arabia teaches things no training manual covers. Most of it comes from the specific, repeated situations our team has handled across thousands of trips.

Pilgrim luggage is never just luggage. Arriving pilgrims carry standard baggage. Departing ones carry Zamzam water, dates, and gifts bought during their stay — heavier, bulkier, and requiring vehicle space planned in advance, not assumed.

Airport coordination is more than pickup. For first-time visitors especially, our team assists with luggage, walks passengers to the correct exit, explains airport layout, and ensures they reach the vehicle without confusion. Knowing the terminal procedures at King Abdulaziz International Airport comes from daily presence, not occasional visits.

Last-minute bookings run the same as planned ones. With 74 vehicles across 5 branches operating continuously, our team is ready for dispatch at any point. Passengers arriving at the pickup location typically wait no more than 20 to 25 minutes — unplanned or not.

Flight delays don’t change the commitment. When arrivals are delayed, our drivers wait. The passenger confirmed a booking and the team honors it regardless of timing shifts.

Group coordination means matching correctly. Vehicle selection for groups is based on actual passenger count, luggage volume, and distance — not just seat availability. That matching process comes from experience, not guesswork.

Elderly passengers receive direct physical assistance. From wheelchair support at the terminal to careful boarding and seating — our team handles this as a standard part of airport operations, not an exception.

Why We Price the Way We Do

Hadiya Transportation was built around a specific type of passenger — pilgrims, families, and travelers for whom reliable transport is a necessity, not a luxury. Keeping pricing around 15% below market average was never a promotional decision. It was a foundational one. When Malik Usama started operations in 2016, the belief was simple — a family traveling for Umrah or a pilgrim arriving alone should not have to overpay simply because they are unfamiliar with local transport options or have no alternative. That belief has not changed across 10 years of operations, and it shapes how every quote is prepared today.

Our Commitment Going Forward

Hadiya Transportation remains based in Jeddah — the same city, the same founding principles — while continuing to expand operational capacity across western Saudi Arabia. Every addition to the fleet, every new branch location, and every driver joining the team is measured against one standard: whether it genuinely improves the travel experience for the passenger being served.

That standard has not changed since 2016 and will not change as operations grow.
